Valletta, Malta has been chosen by Internet viewers as the Fourth Best Destination to visit in 2015. This was organised by European Best Destinations. Malta surpassed popular destinations such as London, Rome and Paris. The Poll was also shared on Malta Network Resources’ facebook page.
The BBC has created this excellent video, called “Malta: Nurse of the Mediterranean”.
Doctors in WW1 were tasked with treating casualties unlike any they had seen before. Dr Kevin Fong explores how Malta pushed its medical traditions to earn the name the Nurse of the Mediterranean.

February 13th to 17th 2015 marks the date when Carnival will be celebrated this year in Malta. Carnival is a popular tradition dating hundreds of years, indeed, even during the time of the Knights it was celebrated one week before, up to Ash Wednesday.

Special bus services are going to be available for this week’s Notte Bianca according to Malta Today.
Notte Bianca Bus Tickets are to be purchased prior to the event from Malta Public Transport ticket booths and resellers. For ticket booth locations and the list of routes you can call 2122 2000. Park & Ride services will also be available, offering unlimited parking and extended parking hours until 2am, with direct shuttles to and from Valletta.
