Valletta, Malta has been chosen by Internet viewers as the Fourth Best Destination to visit in 2015. This was organised by European Best Destinations. Malta surpassed popular destinations such as London, Rome and Paris. The Poll was also shared on Malta Network Resources’ facebook page.
The BBC has created this excellent video, called “Malta: Nurse of the Mediterranean”.
Doctors in WW1 were tasked with treating casualties unlike any they had seen before. Dr Kevin Fong explores how Malta pushed its medical traditions to earn the name the Nurse of the Mediterranean.
