Today, Malta and it's movies (practically the Popeye Movie with Robin Williams) was featured on http://www.gamberorosso.it“>RaiSat Gambero Rosso channel, in a 10 minute programme. The programme featured Malta's festas, the Popeye Village and Movie, Oliver Friggieri and a restaurant.

Malta's new PM Dr Lawrence Gonzi, who later today went to Brussels for a European summit, this morning nominated ex-PM Dr Eddie Fenech Adami for Malta's new President. Current President DeMarco is stepping down soon.

Malta's PM Dr Eddie Fenech Adami has given his resignation letter to the President Dr Guido De Marco. Dr Lawrence Gonzi has just been sworn in as Malta's new Prime Minister, today Tuesday 23rd March 2004.
Celebrating 13 Years
Next June it will be 13 years since Malta Network Resources was started on the Internet and local networks. It was the first Maltese website/resource list together with the TrekWho mailing list (which had Malta's first Internet archive).
In May, Malta will be joining the EU officially, and there are going to be lots of celebrations. I'll keep you updated on what's going on.
